Ghosts hanging from trees, jack-o-lanterns lighting up pathways and witches on their broomsticks watching over front doors is what you’ll currently find around the neighborhood. Needless to say the Halloween spirit is definitely in the air and with the spookiest holiday in just a couple of weeks I can’t think of a better time for today’s DIY. Since it is the most frightful time of year these scary spider straws are the perfect way to get into the spirit of things. Scary Spider Straws
*makes 4
Materials
- glue gun
- scissors
- pencil
- 4 12-inch black pipe cleaners, cut in half
- 8 wiggle eyes
Instructions
- Align 4 pipe cleaner pieces and place the pencil in the center.
- Wrap 1 side of the pipe cleaners all the way around the pencil and pull tight.
- With hot glue gun, dab a little glue onto the back of the wiggle eyes and place them on your spider.
- Separate the “legs” and bend the ends to create little feet.
Beware as these scary spiders may pop up again later in the week!
